I am finally legal to live in the United States. I moved to the United States when I was only two years old. My mother and my father brought me here from Mexico, and of course I had no idea of what they were doing. My mother and father worked very hard, but they were never able to get us all legalized. I grew up and I went to school in the United States, and I decided that I wanted to go to college, but since I did not have a social security number, I could not enroll in college. I had saved up a lot of money to be able to get a good education, but since I was not allowed to enroll in college, I decided that I would invest my money in a great lawyer. I got a good NJ immigration attorney and I am so happy that I did. I had to move to Mexico for six months, and I lived with my grandma, but after I lived there, I was able to get my permanent residency card. I moved back to the United States, and I am so excited, because I started at the University in one month. I am so happy that I am not a permanent resident of the United States.
